STURGIS, S.D. (AP) — A judge in California has ordered that black plastic be removed from the "Easyriders" sign on a three-story bar and restaurant in the South Dakota city of Sturgis, meaning it will be displayed during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The business owned by North Dakota-based KSLB&D is embroiled in a court dispute with the publisher of Easyriders magazine, California-based Paisano Publications, over vendor and licensing agreements.

The business owner late last month announced plans to continue operations as the Sturgis Saloon Co., but a judge has ordered that the establishment remain the Easyriders Saloon until the court dispute is resolved.

The annual motorcycle rally that brings hundreds of thousands of people to the Black Hills community is next week.
