FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The Red River in Fargo has dropped below flood stage for the first time since June 21.

The National Weather Service says the river dropped below the flood stage in the city of 18 feet over the weekend, and should continue dropping this week.

The U.S. Geological Survey says that since flooding began on March 29, the Red has been above flood stage in Fargo for all but four days.
