FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The U.S. Postal Service plans to close the post office in the western North Dakota town of Manning at the end of the month.

The Dickinson Press reports that Postmaster Cheryl Borth is retiring on June 30. Postal Service officials say no one is interested in taking over the job in the town of about 50 people. Manning mail will be processed through the Dickinson office.

It will be the second post office in the Dunn County to close in the past year. The post office in Dunn Center shut down last October.
