TIOGA, N.D. (AP) — The Williams County Commission on Tuesday approved a two-year permit for a temporary housing facility for up to 2,500 people.
Capital Oil Field Services of Round Rock, Texas, is planning the man camp off U.S. Highway 2 near Tioga.
Officials tell the Williston Herald that the Capital Riggers Lodge will have 275 buildings, and round-the-clock security. Alcohol and firearms will be prohibited.
Housing is in short supply in western North Dakota's booming oil patch.
