WW II-era bomber tours grounded by failed engine

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — An engine failure has forced the Commemorative Air Force to cancel appearances of its World War II B-25 bomber "Miss Mitchell" in Oakes and Fargo.

The Fargo Forum reports that the group that maintains the airplane was slated to give rides in Oakes and Fargo through Wednesday.

A Fargo air museum official says the engine had been used for only 10 hours when it failed.
