AG: Ambulance board broke meetings law

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says Towner County's Ambulance Service Board violated the state's open meetings law.

Stenehjem says a committee set up by the board to deal with replacing the manager of the ambulance service did not post public notice of a meeting last August.

He says that violated the law, and he's ordered the board to create minutes of the committee meeting and make them available to anyone who wants them.

Stenehjem's order says the board was not aware it was required to post notice of any of its meetings but will do so in the future.
