FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Ribbons worn by members of Congress during the president's State of the Union speech were produced by a Fargo company.
WDAY television said FRS Industries got the call Monday to make 1,500 black and white ribbons. Workers started production at 9 a.m. and were done by 4 p.m. in order to make a shipping deadline.
The white portion of the ribbon symbolizes hope and the black represents anti-violence.
