ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — An Aberdeen woman on federal probation for an embezzlement-related charge pleaded guilty Wednesday to disorderly conduct.
Shirelle D. Stadel was originally charged with domestic simple assault but the charge was amended. The American News said the 41-year-old was fined $175 and received a suspended 30-day jail sentence.
Stadel was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty in federal court to diverting $20,000 while she was director of a crisis shelter in Aberdeen. Federal prosecutors want a judge to revoke her probation because of the latest criminal case.
