Company says it's owed millions for ND oil work
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A company that helps extract oil from deep underground says it's owed more than $3.5 million for projects in North Dakota.
Denver-based Sanjel Inc. has filed a lawsuit in federal court against Abraxas Petroleum Corp. for work done on oil wells in McKenzie County in November. Sanjel says the payment was due on Dec. 30.
Sanjel's specialty is hydraulic fracturing, a process that uses pressurized fluid and chemicals to break open oil-bearing rock underground.
Abraxas officials were not available for comment.
