FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State University President Dean Bresciani has appointed faculty and staff representatives to his Cabinet.

NDSU says it is the first time that faculty and staff have had direct representation on the president's Cabinet. The move follows the addition last July of Student Body President Kevin Black, marking the first time in the university's history that a student had served.

The appointments announced Monday are Gary Totten, president-elect of the Faculty Senate, and Vance Olson, past president of the Staff Senate.
