BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A school, a roadside fountain and some stone structures are the latest North Dakota properties to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The register is the federal government's list of properties deemed worthy of recognition and preservation.

The new North Dakota properties on the list all were built during the Depression era: the Alkabo School in Divide County, the Crystal Springs Fountain in Kidder County and Works Progress Administration stone structures at Menoken State Historic Site in Burleigh County.
