Devils Lake High School art students have provided the artwork for the play "What I Want To Say, But Never Will,  to be presented Jan. 27, 28, and 29 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Robert Fawcett Auditorium at LRSC.

Featured artwork are by junior David Johnson, sophomore Jayla Knut-son,  junior Courtney Freidig, junior Janie Chepulis and senior Brent Rudnik.

The "Doodles" were selected for the set design as they compliment the theme of the play.

The characters in the play verbally release things that they have been keeping inside.

The "Doodles" reveal what is going on inside of someone.

Doodles show things which can't be talked about or that may not have words in which to describe them.

A "Doodle" can also show a love of design. The viewer of a doodle brings their own experiences to finding meaning in the maze of shapes, words, and lines.

No training is required to do a Doodle and everyone is an expert.
