It was great to see Brody Parker yet again having another well played game on home ice (2 goals, 1 assist), along with hometown Austin Thompson getting his first goal of his college career. 5 out of the 6 goals were scored by freshmen.”

  • Head coach Brady Stein: “With a few guys out of the lineup after the Friday game we got to see how we would handle a better Duluth team as they came out ready. With an uneventful first period, sophomore and captain Griffin Anderson got the ball rolling on a power play early in the 2nd period. Followed up by a goal from freshman Tyler Rogers, ending the 2nd period up 2-0. Duluth got 2 goals in the 3rd to tie it up and put some pressure on the Royals, but assistant captain Brett Lesage was able to put the last goal of the day away with 7 minutes remaining in the game, yet again with help from Brody Parker.”
