The 2025 North Dakota Shrine Bowl rosters were announced Wednesday. The 51st annual Shrine Bowl all-star games, comprised of the best senior football players in the state, will be played Saturday, June 21 at Mayville State University.
The Lake Region is represented by seven players and one coach on the nine-man East team, and two players on the 11-man East team.
New Rockford-Sheyenne/Maddock, the 2024 nine-man state champion, has the most players on the East roster with five. Kage Walford, Carter Engebretson, Bennett Meier, Colton Green and Kailar Jacobson were all named.
Four Winds quarterback Kashton Keja Jr. also made the East roster. Nelson County is represented by running back/linebacker Jack O’Brien and head coach Beau Snyder.
For the 11-man game, Devils Lake lineman Amiri Francis made the East roster. Langdon Area/Munich wide receiver Cody Amble was named as well.
In total, each nine-man roster has 27 players, while the 11-man rosters have 38 each. Each roster has four coaches. Players will start practicing together on Tuesday, June 17 in preparation for the June 21 games, with the 11-man contest at 3 p.m. and the nine-man at 6 p.m. at Jerome Berg Field.
Last year, the nine-man East won 20-8 and the 11-man East won 41-26.
