The Devils Lake High School Dazzlers Dance Team recently concluded a successful 2024-25 performance and competition season.

The team celebrated major achievements at the North Dakota Association of Dance and Drill State Competition, held January 17-18 (2025) at the Minot State Dome. Following two stellar preliminary performances, the Dazzlers advanced to finals in both the Class A Jazz and Hip Hop categories.

They secured 4th place in Hip Hop and 5th place in Jazz, achieving their season goal of qualifying for finals in at least one category for a second year in a row.

Additionally, the Dazzlers competed in Class A Kick and Pom – missing a spot in the Pom finals by less than a quarter of a point!

The team also earned the Team Scholar Award, recognizing their outstanding academic performance with an average GPA of over 3.2. The Dazzlers maintain a team GPA above 3.6 and have consistently received this award every year since their founding and first state competition in 2004.

Dazzler fans were loud and proud throughout the weekend at the Dome, cheering on the team during their incredible performances. Leading up to the state competition, the Dazzlers participated in several invitationals across North Dakota in December and January, earning top-ranking trophies in Pom, Hip Hop, and Jazz.
