West Fargo Sheyenne 4, Devils Lake 1: Calin Boline struck out eight in a complete game. Boline also reached base three times, while Julia McIvor had two hits. The Firebirds finished the regular season 6-9 overall.

Baseball regionals
Hillsboro/Central Valley 1, Nelson County/Midkota 2: The Chargers won on a walk-off error after a bunt by Zach Gibson, who also went 2-for-4 with a double. Kyle Johnson allowed one run in six innings, and Preston Lee weaseled out of a jam in the seventh. Brody Rainsberry also had two hits.
Softball regionals
Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich 4, Thompson 15: Raeleigh Ratzlaff and Kenadee Cluchie each recorded two hits.
Nelson County/Midkota 1, Pembina County 12: Bailey Flaagan had two hits for the Chargers.

Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich 3, Grafton 4: The Cardinals got walked off, allowing one in the sixth and one in the seventh. Mason Romfo went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while Theo Romfo went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
Midway/Minto 1, Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich 10: The Cardinals kept their season alive with a dominant win in the next game of the day. M. Romfo didn’t allow any earned runs in seven innings of work, with only three hits allowed. Dawson Hein recorded three hits for LA/E/M.
New Rockford-Sheyenne 8, Kidder County 1: Connor Knatterud pitched six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts. Lucas Yri went 3-for-4 at the plate and also pitched the final inning, striking out two. Brody Weisenburger and Bradyn Collier each recorded two hits.
Bottineau 2, North Star 12: Karsen Simon went 2-for-2 with a double, two walks and two RBIs. Dane Hagler also had a double and reached base three times overall. Zack Jorde gave a solid five-inning outing, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out four. The Bearcats scored eight in the third.
Nelson County/Midkota 4, Thompson 8: Catcher Zach Gibson had another strong performance, going 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Ross Thompson went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Left-handed ace Preston Lee threw all six innings, but a four-run third sunk him and the Chargers, who will play for their season on Tuesday.
Note: Class B regional finals will commence on Tuesday and Wednesday. Class A EDC games will also begin on Tuesday.
