What to watch
The Lake Region State College basketball teams conclude their regular seasons on Sunday with road games against Bismarck State College on Sunday.
The women are currently tied for third place in the Mon-Dak Athletic Conference with Dawson Community College, both of whom have an 11-9 conference record. The Royals have a better overall record, but the Buccaneers have a better head-to-head record, which would give Dawson the advantage in the case of a tie. LRSC will try to lock up that No. 3 seed on Sunday heading into the playoffs.
The men are in second-to-last place with a 5-15 conference record, a game ahead of Bismarck State College. They’re only one game behind Williston State College, who they went 2-1 against in the regular season, so the Royals would hold the advantage in the case of a tie.
All teams in the conference will at least make a playoff game regardless of their place, so the men could theoretically make a run despite a tough season.
