Monday was a busy day for boys’ basketball in the Lake Region.

Benson County boys’ basketball also won its game at home vs. Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, 66-54. The Wildcats improved to 3-6. Nelson County won on the road against Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich by a score of 59-51. The Chargers have won their last two games after a 1-3 start.
Warwick boys’ and girls’ basketball both lost on the road — the boys to Midway/Minto, 70-58, and the girls to Richardton-Taylor High School, 84-44.
Monday also saw the latest polls released by the NDAPSSA. Both Devils Lake teams ranked in the top five. The boys have an important game coming on Thursday against No. 1 Grafton. For more on the polls, click here.
