Devils Lake is back in the top five.

After beating then-No. 3 Central Cass 21-19 on Friday, the Firebirds reentered the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association poll released Monday. Devils Lake is now ranked No. 5 in Division AA with 18 points.

The Firebirds started the year at No. 4.

Central Cass, which received a first-place vote last week, is now unranked but still receiving votes.
