Rookie driver Rylan Swenson of Devils Lake captured his first career feature victory Saturday night in the Purestock division after making an impressive pass on Joe Armstrong of Crary.
Armstrong jumped out to the early lead in the Purestock feature with Swenson close behind. Swenson used the high side of the speedway to make a clean pass for the lead and never looked back, driving away for his first career feature win. The victory came in just his ninth career Purestock start. Armstrong finished second, while Armstrong also picked up the Purestock heat race victory.
The Western Renegade Non-Wing Sprints saw Parker Vilandre of Devils Lake draw the pole position for the feature. Unfortunately, mechanical issues prevented Vilandre from taking the green flag, moving Nick Shirek of Grand Forks to the pole and Emma Sobolik of Grand Forks to the outside front row.
Shirek grabbed the early lead but was challenged throughout the feature by Myles Tomlinson of Turtle Lake and Jeremy Lizakowski of Veseli. Heavy lapped traffic became a factor early, but Shirek expertly worked through traffic and held off the hard-charging field behind him to earn his first feature victory of the season. Tomlinson finished second, followed by Lizakowski in third. Eric Guyot of Fannystelle, Manitoba crossed the line fourth, while Ken Hron of Grand Rapids, Minnesota completed the top five. Heat race victories went to Adam Sobolik and Ken Hron.
Greg Jose of Grand Forks completed a clean sweep in the WISSOTA Street Stock division. Jose advanced two positions to overtake Drew Peterson of Langdon and Weston Ramsrud of Bagley, Minnesota, to win his heat race.
For the feature, Stoney Kruk of Langdon redrew the pole with Waylon Poitra of Grand Forks alongside him. Kruk led the opening laps before mechanical issues forced him to retire from the race. Jose inherited the lead on lap three and drove to his fifth consecutive feature victory. Peterson put together a solid run to finish second, while Ramsrud came home third. Rookie Andrew White of West Fargo finished fourth, and fellow rookie Logan Hayes of Thompson rounded out the top five.
The WISSOTA Midwest Mods produced the race of the night.
Dev Malmlov of Moorhead, Minnesota, won the first heat race, while Jory Berg of Grand Forks claimed the second.
In the feature, Dusty Peterson of Kindred started on the pole and led the opening laps over Randy Thompson of Lakota. By lap two, Kenna Breidenbach of Grand Forks had charged forward four positions to take over the lead. Breidenbach and Berg then put on an outstanding side-by-side battle for much of the feature, exchanging the lead several times. Berg finally gained the advantage in the closing laps to secure his ninth feature victory of the 2026 season. Breidenbach finished a strong second, followed by Peterson in third. Ryne Uhrich of Langdon finished fourth after slipping back one position, while Thompson rounded out the top five.
