Dear Editor,

In response to “Buyers Remorse” [Letter was printed in the Tuesday, March 4, 2025 DLJ on page 4]

I must respond to the writer who wrote what he thought was a witty letter to the editor. I have to tell him his failure to do so was epic. I could not help but notice that every point he made against Trump has been debuunked, every lie has been proven false yet his TDS prevents him from recognizing this. I would recommend that he stop watching CNN and MSNBC. Please try alternative news available on the Internet immediately.

If a person is outraged that Trump had his photo taken at Arlington with a Gold Star Family, I would remind the so-called outraged critic that he was invited by them and to accept the invitation would have been even more dishonorable (unless of course it was Biden and he got a pass on ethics by his party and the media for 4 years).

Another pearl clutching criticism was over tens of thousands federal employees being fired by this president. I would like to enlighten this person that almost 400,000 federal employees were fired by President Bill Clinton during his first term of office.

I also didn’t notice any criticism of the fact that this country is 36 trillion dollars in debt. He instead believed it was such a burden for employees to answer an e-mail requesting that they list 5 things they accomplished in a week’s tiime. the writer thought this was an insufferable burden. I am not sympathetic to those employees, or those who support such employees.

I do not appreciate those who repeat the liberal gossip of Elon being the “real”president. I’m reminded of the movie “Mean Girls”, it’s beta behavior at it’s worst. I have to ask if his letter was his way of auditioning for “The View”? I feel it’s my obligation to remind him that the show is strictly a woman’s show with female hosts only, talk to legal if you identify yourself as female in a male body.
