Letters to the Editor
Dear Editor,
When we make a list of things to be thankful for this year, there are
two those of us living in Devils Lake need to add:
# be thankful for our Kiwanis Club and the super, delicious meal served
to home bound, and others in person on Thursday.
As I was picking up our meals to take home three young men came walking
into the KCs behind me, they were from out of town and asking
directions to the ‘KC Hall.’ It wasn’t quite time for the sit down
meals to be served, but as I left saw they were being welcomed by a Kiwanis
member and invited to sit down. Thanks you Kiwanis!
# be thankful the Devils Lake Journal is back, our own ‘home town’
paper that is loaded with pictures and stories of local events and
happenings!
How lucky the community is. Thank you to all who made it happen!
