During the next few months before the 2024 election, there is a behind-the-scenes war taking place that could have significant ramifications on the election outcome. This effort pits one political party with a well-funded infrastructure backed by multiple billionaires that does not really believe in democracy because it allows way too many people to have the right to vote. The other political party, less well-funded because it lacks as many billionaire backers than the other political party, believes that democracy is the only way to produce a thriving just and fair society and wants as many eligible people to vote as possible. This battle has been ongoing for years, if not decades, and appears to be taking on a much more forceful and sinister tone this election cycle. It is fascinating that conservatives rail against the so-called “administrative state” while we all should be much more concerned with the corporate state and the billionaire club that has far more control over things than any administrative state.
There is a behind-the-scenes effort going on in many states, particularly in the handful of some battleground states, to remove voters from strategically selected geographic areas known to vote more for the opposing party by using obscure legislation and by pressing minor voting registration technicalities. The purpose is to suppress voting in certain sections of the state by whatever means possible. There has never been any significant issue with voter fraud that has been documented to change the outcome of any national election for decades, yet efforts continue to take place to fix this nonexistent problem. This effort, if only partially successful, may be used for some nefarious purpose after the election, depending on the outcome.
What we have brewing could be a watershed moment in the country’s history. The January 6th insurrection/coup was a tragic moment in American history that has one political party attempting to whitewash and con the public into believing that it was something quite different than what was witnessed on television while it was happening. They even have the audacity to claim those that broke the law that day are hostages or political prisoners rather than the criminals found guilty of crimes in a court of law that are serving their time in jail. This is important to use the terminology “hostages” or “political prisoners” because things are interconnected, and everything being done will lay the groundwork for what could happen in the aftermath of the 2024 election.
The former president and presumptive nominee of the Republican party has declared that there will be a bloodbath if he loses the 2024 election. There has been a concerted effort to explain away the bloodbath comment, but those words spoken by someone who has admitted to wanting to be a dictator for a day, (sure we all believe someone can be a dictator for a day). So, after the 2020 election the former president encouraged and allegedly orchestrated the January 6th insurrection/coup and now if he loses in 2024 the country could experience something much worse than the January 6th criminal act that took place at our nation’s capital. Due to the lack of any evidence other than conspiracy theories, conjecture and lying, it should be crystal clear to everyone that the former president did not win the 2020 election. To think otherwise about the outcome of the 2020 election shows a good deal of willful ignorance and gullibility. The Democratic Party has shown itself to be frequently political inept and has never had the capacity to orchestrate a nationwide plan to steal an election because it is not capable of pulling off this grand level of subterfuge.
Those that believe in government by, for and of the people need to pay close attention to what is taking place behind the scenes aside from all the excessive campaign activity that may bombard us for the next several months and if you live in a swing state, we all feel sorry for you. Voter suppression efforts are currently underway in many states to reduce voting of primarily minorities, college students and strategically located people that historically vote a certain way contrary to the wishes of those undertaking almost all voter suppression efforts. Government by, for and of the people works best when the most people possible vote. Voter suppression efforts are an unpatriotic act of those that want power to control and do not want to see democracy flourish. If democracy flourishes, we will all win and truly fulfill the promise of this grand experiment in self-governance.
