Bernard Ordahl, 87, formerly of Cando, Starkweather, and Devils Lake, ND, passed away Aug. 26, 2002, at Blue Ash, Ohio. A memorial service will be held Sept. 26, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Loveland, Ohio. Bernard Oliver Norman Ordahl was born Dec. 31,1932, in Cando, ND, the son of Ole and Carrie (Kile) Ordahl. He grew up in Cando and Starkweather. He served in the army 1953-1955. He married Margy Moe in Churches Ferry, ND, in 1961. They lived in Devils Lake, Long Beach, Cail., then Rainier, Ore. Bernard was a longshoreman in Longview, Wash. for 29 years. They retired and moved to Florence, Ariz. until 2017 when he moved to his daughters home in Ohio. They traveled and enjoyed their RV for many years. Bernard is survived by; his daughter, Linda (Robert) Eggleston, of Loveland, Ohio, son Robert (Kathy) of Miss.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Olga Pulst of Penn, ND, and Carol Ordahl of Irvine, Cali.; and brother, Clarence, of Bisbee, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Margie; mother and father; brother, Olaf (Ozzie); nephews, Danny Ordahl, and Gordon Pulst.
