Matthew Dean Melbarzdis 23, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Trinity Medical Center as results of an automobile accident.

Matthew was born July 1, 1998, the son of Dean Scott and Donna Lyn (Reynolds) Weigel, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot, ND. He attended Lynnes Welding Training following graduation. He worked for McDonalds, Industrial Equipment Sales & Service, Summers Manufacturing, Newkota, and most recent employed at Tires Plus.

Matthew enjoyed camping, gaming and helping anyone in need. He will be remembered by his outgoing personality and smile that could light up a room. Matthew was able to be an organ donor.

His loving family includes:

Matthew was preceded in death by cousin Kara Melbarzdis and grandfather Arvids Melbarzdis.

Celebration of Life: Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Columbian Club (formerly the Knights of Columbus, Minot, ND, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM-Please wear your favorite Hoodie and Jeans.
