Glen Mikkelsen, 59, of Spearfish, SD, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. Memorial Services for Glen will be on December 9, 2021 at the Bowman Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Charles Johnson will officiate the services.

Glen Mikkelsen was born on June 28, 1962 in Minneapolis MN. His family moved to Bowman when he was 4 years old. Glen spent most of his life in Bowman. He started working at Bowman Glass at a young age and eventually purchased the business. After he sold the business he worked at the Bowman County Highway Department. A few years later he purchased a house in Spearfish SD and that is where he resided until his passing on Saturday November 27th around 12:30 pm.

He is survived by his parents Kay and Cam Mikkelsen and his three brothers Brian, Forrest and Paul.

Glen was an avid biker and loved to ride with all his biker friends. He was always quick with a smile or his silly dance he was famous for. Glen always worked hard and was meticulous in whatever he did. As hard as he worked he always played just as hard and was always up for a good time. If you ever rode with Glen he didn't like to wait around. If he was ready he wanted to go. In life as in his passing he wasn't going to wait around. When he was ready he passed peacefully and quickly.

Glen will be missed dearly but his life will always be celebrated and remembered every day!
