Camey Lynn DuBois, (Wanbdi Wakantu Kiyan win “Eagle Fly’s Above), 38, Oberon, ND and the Spirit Lake Nation, beloved Mother, Sister and Auntie, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND after injuries sustained in vehicle accident.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crow Hill Rec Center with Fr. Steven Meyer celebrating the prayers and blessing. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Fort Totten.

A wake service was held on Wednesday, July 23 at the Crow Hill Rec Center with a Rosary and Prayer Service.
Camey Lynn was born July 13, 1987, to Louie A. DuBois and Yvonne “Hopsty” Littlewind DuBois in Devils Lake Mercy Hospital. Camey attended Oberon Public School and received her eight grade diploma. She graduated from Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota on May 22, 2008.
Camey was a very humble person, she always wanted to help anyone she could in any way possible. She loved to be outside doing yard work for others, cleaning house, baby sitting and being with everyone’s kids. Her favorite past time was spent with her children, family and friends. Camey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Camey is survived by her children, Tayronne, Amyah and Alfred; mother and father, Louie and Yvonne “Hopsty” DuBois; brothers, Marques Lyle Littlewind, Kyle DuBois, Marques Jon DuBois, Asia Littlewind and Nathan DuBois; sister, Teya Littlewind; grandmothers, Millie Little and Helen Littleghost; grandfather, John Chaske Sr.; aunties, Violet Robertson & Family, Audrey Graywater & Family, Grace Thumb & Family, Carmen Littlewind & Family, Onna Littlewind, Germaine DeMarce & Family, Corrine Brown & Family, Renita (Bud) Shaw & Family.
