Delphine “Del” Hutson passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Delphine (Del) Hutson was born Jan. 21, 1931, to Albert and Anne Kiedrowski. She grew up in Cando and Devils Lake, ND. Del and Hod owned and operated Grafton Aero Service. Del worked at Reyleck’s Dept. Store as a clerk and buyer. Del took all of her roles in life very seriously; daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, church member, employee, and volunteer. Del could find a job for anyone! She always fought for the underdog. Her message to her children was to be nice to everyone always. She will be dearly missed.

Del is survived by her son, Don (Paddy) Hutson, and daughters, Linda (Jim) Johnston, Nancy (Ken) Tatum, Deb Hutson, Dot (John) Martinson and Margie (Mike) Evers, Grandchildren: Jason, Kevin, and Brian Johnston, Julie Johnston Williams, Kim Tatum, Bobby Martinson, Emily and Jimmy Evers and 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sister: Mondonna Gully, Brothers: Ron and Gordy Kiedrowski.

Del was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hod 1/25/2024; son, Bob 2/24/92; her granddaughter, Kate Tatum 11/7/04; her sisters, Celestine Eggl and Patricia Tompkins; brothers, Albert and Frank Kiedrowski, her sisters-in-law, Mary Owen Kiedrowski Livermore, Cheryl Kiedrowski, and Elizabeth Hutson Drabek. Brothers-in-law: George Eggl and Darold Tompkins.

Per her wishes no funeral will be held. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Unity Hospital, Lutheran Sunset Home and Hospice of the Red River Valley for the wonderful care they provided for our mother.

Memorials can be made to a local charity of your choice.
