As a family, church on Sundays was always important as were holidays. Camping and fishing was something they looked forward to.

Ron worked for Cobra Tire after Firestone. He then went to work for Falkirk Mining Company in Underwood, ND, in 1981 and continued employment there until retiring in 2005. Margie had worked at Dakota Farms from 1981 until 2001. In May 2001, they purchased the Captain’s Cabin in Washburn. The two of them ran it until September 2018 when they sold it and retired.
