Andrew was born March 22nd, 1987 in Devils Lake, North Dakota . He passed away on November 9th 2022. Andrew was the son of Dale Berg and Stacey Konzak (Berg) and younger brother to Erin Berg -Gibbens.

Andy attended the majority of school age in Algona, Iowa, finishing high school in, Grand Forks, ND. Andrew held AD degrees in Auto mechanics and Sound Design. He was employed by Plunketts Pest Control for the past 8.5 years. He started in North Dakota , moving to Michigan and then returning to North Dakota.

Andrew is preceded in death by grandparents: Richard and Dorrene Konzak, and Gordon Berg, aunt Cindy Berg, and beloved cousin Amie Konzak.

He is survived by his parents Dale and Stacey; sister Erin and brother-in-law James Gibbens; nieces Eden and Nora; grandmother Beth Berg; aunts and uncles Doug and Joan Konzak, Diane and John Kuchera, Karen and Michael Tiradani, Sidney and Sam Whitehead, Kim and Lee Jones, Arne and Kris Berg, Dean and Carol Berg, Karn and Les Windjue, along with many other cousins and their children. Lastly, his most precious and faithful 4 legged companion – Paxton.

Andrew was a softhearted loving son. He enjoyed music, starting on the bass in middle school expanding his talents to acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, banjo, drums and harmonica. He learned to snowboard in Montana in middle school and continued to enjoy this while he lived in Michigan. Andrew loved adventures. He experienced his first motorcycle ride at the age of 6 during the mother/son T-ball game when he was supposed to be playing the “outfield”. He went as far as building an enclosed kennel trailer so Paxton could accompany him on his travels. He enjoyed construction and automotive projects. His skills were developed under his father’s supervision.

For many he wore his heart on his sleeve. Attentive individuals could read parts of his life story while admiring his tattoos. Andrew was intensely loyal to family and friends. His deep heart, loving smile and gift of music will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Services were held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake with burial in the Devils Lake Cemetery.
