Bettie C. Goslin, 89, of Mexico, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A private family burial was held at MO State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Bettie was born on Sept. 14, 1928 in Santa Fe, MO, the daughter of William Evert and Flodell (Creed) Clement. On April 12, 1951, she married Walter Goslin and he survives at the family home.
She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church, had volunteered for many years at the Mexico Senior Center and was a member of the China Painters Association.
In addition to her husband, Walter, she is survived by her children, Bill (Debbie) Goslin of Kansas City, Lura Williams of Mexico, Lisa (Benny) Newsom of Mexico, and Lina (David) Peacock of Benton City; grandchildren, Austen Goslin of Kansas City, MaryAnn (Miguel) Garcia of St. Louis and Julie Williams (Roman) of Dallas, TX; two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Mica Garcia; a brother, Ray (LaVerne) Clement of Mexico; a sister, Judy (Paul) Koelling of Mexico; and two sisters-in-law Betty Earle of Mexico and Joyce Goslin of Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Ann Oliver.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the Mexico Senior Center in care of Arnold Funeral Home.
