Kevin Wayne McIntosh, 60 of Devils Lake formerly of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Eventide Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake.
Kevin was born on April 15, 1966, at St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Joyce McIntosh. At a young age, Kevin moved with the family to East Grand Forks, attending school there, including East Grand Forks High School.
He moved to Fargo where he lived and worked as a farm equipment builder for a farm equipment dealership. Increasing health problems forced him to retire and he moved to Grand Forks and was blessed to be cared for by his niece.
After a debilitating stroke in the fall of 2024, and extensive rehabilitation he made his home at Eventide Good Samaritan Center in Devils Lake until his passing. Kevin had an exceptional talent at drawing and many of his creations were given to family and friends. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
Despite his health challenges, he felt blessed to have family and friends who cared for him.
He is survived by his brother, Keith (Jennifer) Risberg of Grand Forks, ND, and his sister Kim Risberg also of Grand Forks; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce, and grandmother, Helen Thompson.
Kevin is in the care of the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake. Arrangements are pending.
