Richard “Dick” Boucher, of Winter Park, FL, died March 7, 2023, at the age of 90. Dick was born in Crookston, MN, to David and Noella Boucher on Christmas day 1932. He was the oldest son of seven children, and was survived by brother Joseph Boucher and sisters, Joyce Rock, Delores Dickhut, and Jeanette Kelly. Dick farmed near Crookston, MN, until joining the Navy in 1955.
His first passion and greatest love was his beautiful wife, Keta. Dick and Keta married in Crookston on June 6, 1959. They met at a work party in Chicago and enjoyed almost 64 years of marriage. Together they raised four children and traveled around the world. They lived in Devils Lake, ND, prior to moving to Winter Park, FL in 1981.
Dick retired in 1991 after over 30 years working in the airline industry, as a gate agent, ramp supervisor, and airport manager. When not working, he enjoyed wood working, golfing, and reading. In retirement, he starting growing pineapples. He also volunteered at the Good Shepard Food Bank, in Maitland, FL, for over 25 years.
He was survived by his wife, Keta, sons, David and Daniel, daughter, Darnell, son-in-law David Jayne, and grandchildren Laura Jayne and Jessica Boucher, daughter of son Darrell (deceased). A brief gravesite service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Chapel Hill Cemetery on March 17, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. with a celebration of life gathering immediately following the service.
