Devils Lake resident Ronnie Lang (far left) and his friends - four generations of fishermen and hunters - who visit the Lake Region twice each year. They all love to fish Devils Lake in the summertime staying at a campground in Grahams Island State Park. Shown here they also come each fall to get their limit of Canada goose, speckled belly geese, pheasants, ducks like widgons, red heads, mallards and gadwells. Although Bob and Garrett Mueller (Rochester, MN) had to leave early to get back to work, bringing their birds home with them, Charlie Lindberg (Ramsey, MN), Ethan Lindberg (Ramsey, MN), Nick Lindberg (Ham Lake, MN), Chuck Lindberg (Coon Rapids, MN) and Chris Lindberg (Andover, MN) stayed to pose for the Devils Lake Journal to photograph them and their birds. The hunters said they always enjoy their time in the Lake Region and are grateful for all the landowners who allow them to hunt on their land. They will be back next year fishing in the summer and hunting in the fall with their friend, Ron.
