It’s been a long, cold and snowy winter and some are beginning to complain about suffering from cabin fever.

This is Devils Lake, North Dakota and we know how to alleviate the symptoms of cabin fever, we plan a bunch of outdoor activities!

Here, we call those activities “ShiverFest” and they took place over the weekend throughout the Devils Lake community.

There were youngsters fishing on the ice at Creel Bay, folks shopping at a vendor show at the Golf Course and a Gun Show at the Memorial Building.

A Jig Saw puzzle contest was in the Lake Region Heritage Center, cross country skiing at the Creel Bay Golf Course and a walk/run called the “Frozen Fanny” was held out at Woodland Resort. From what I heard, no one actually froze their fanny.
