Highlighted Events at the Lake Region Public Library
Wednesday, May 28 @ 10:30 a.m. – Sensory Storytime. This is a less-structured session that features a sensory-friendly read-aloud with fidget toys available for engagement, and other hands-on sensory play. Play before, during, or after the story — everyone is welcome!
Thursday, May 29 @ 11:00 a.m. – Preschool Storytime. Join us in the Children’s Area for stories, crafts, and friendship! This event is geared at ages 3-5 with a responsible adult present.
Saturday, May 31 @ 12:00 p.m. – Return of the MESStival! Get ready to kick off this year’s Summer Reading Program, “Color Our World,” with the return of the MESStival! Have your face painted by In Your Face Face Painting, bring an item to tie dye, decorate the grounds with chalk, engage in the water stations, grab Dip ‘n Dots from the MaryAnn’s truck, and so much more. This event is free and open to all ages!
May 1 – May 31 – Register for the Summer Reading Program! Students going into kindergarten through graduated seniors can register at devilslakendlibrary.libcal.com for the student program, and adults can register directly through Beanstack at lakeregionpubliclibrary.beanstack.org!
