Highlighted Events at the Lake Region Public Library
Wednesday, April 2 @ 10:30 a.m. – Sensory Storytime.
This is a less-structured session that features a sensory-friendly read-aloud with fidget toys available for engagement, and other hands-on sensory play. Play before, during, or after the story — everyone is welcome!
Thursday, April 3 @ 11:00 a.m. – Preschool Storytime.
Join us in the Children’s Area for stories, crafts, and friendship! This event is geared at ages 3-5 with a responsible adult present.
Thursday, April 3 @ 7:00 p.m. – LRPL Book Club: The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. March’s book pick was The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood, a timely dystopian tale of a society where personal freedoms are controlled. Join us for what is sure to be a riveting discussion on Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room. Even if you’ve read the book previously, feel free to join us for a discussion! All are welcome.
Tuesday, April 8 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. – Technology Tuesday!
Need a little extra help with something technology-related? Drop by anytime between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month for one-on-one assistance with computer or other technology assistance with a librarian. No registration required!
