First United Bank recently announced their Senior Leadership team and several employees in Devils Lake were named to that team according to Steve Rehovsky, Chairman of the Board and CEO of First United Bank.

Scott Thompson was named Regional President, Chief Credit Officer and is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Karen Hausmann was named Senior Vice President and Trust Officer.

Julie Lamb was named Senior Vice President of Retail Banking.

Amy Heilman was named Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Marketing.

“We knew we had a strong staff with the merger of First United Bank and Ramsey National Bank and we want to use that knowledge and experience as First United Bank looks to the future.” said Rehovsky.

Along with Rehovsky and Thompson, First United Bank’s Board of Directors includes: Doug Mohr and Sarah Burdick who both are residents of Devils Lake, R. Craig Dahl, who was born and raised in Devils Lake and now farms west of Park River, James R. Vasichek, owner of Leading Edge Equipment with offices in Devils Lake and Michigan, Terry Kinneberg of Petersburg and Scott Hills of Grafton.

“With over 99% of its ownership and staff as residents of North Dakota, First United Bank is proud of its local ownership and decision making” states Rehovsky.

First Holding Company, the parent company of First United Bank, purchased Ramsey National Bank in 2021. The two banks have now merged together and operate as First United Bank.
