North Central Planning Council Recognizes Dedicated Service and Announces Retirement
The North Central Planning Council is proud to announce a milestone achievement in the dedicated service of Harold “Ole” Nowatzki. As of 2025, Ole has faithfully served on the Board of Directors for 25 years, having been a steadfast member since the year 2000. With this milestone, we also announce Ole’s well-deserved retirement from the Board.
At the meeting held on Jan. 16, 2025, members of the North Central Planning Council gathered to honor Ole’s unwavering commitment, and to celebrate his retirement. The meeting attendees included Rob Hach, Kaylee Ripplinger, Mike Connor, Ole Nowatzki, Scott Johnson, Nathan Neameyer, Joe Parker, and Executive Director Sandy Shively.
Ole Nowatzki’s tenure on the Board of Directors has been marked by his diligent efforts, insightful contributions, and a profound dedication to the region’s growth and development. His leadership and vision have played an instrumental role in guiding the Council through numerous initiatives and projects that have significantly impacted ND Region 3 (Benson, Cavalier, Eddy, Ramsey, Rolette and Towner Counties).
Executive Director Sandy Shively expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Ole, stating, “Ole’s 25 years of service and is a testament to his passion and dedication. His contributions have been invaluable to North Dakota Region 3.”
