For any of you out there who would like some tips on how to make your Thanksgiving Meal, The 3rd graders from the Oberon school have “lots” of tips written down by their Art teacher from their discussion as they made their paper turkeys with feathers and all!
The students were asked: How do you fix a Thanksgiving meal? Here are their responses:
· How would I know, I don’t have kids.
· You go to the store and buy a turkey. Then you bring it home and wash it off.
· Put it in the oven at 500 degrees for 30 minutes.
· You can go catch a fish. A big one so there’s enough.
· And you have to have ranch and ketchup.
· You should have mash potatoes, too. Put potatoes in hot water and then smash them.
Next is the stuffing which is kind of green.
Desserts:
· Make a pumpkin pie but take that stuff out of the inside
· Oh just go buy a pumpkin pie
· Cookies and ice cream
· You should have a cake shaped like a turkey.
