On Tuesday, May 7, the Lake Region Arts Center held an opening reception for the Devils Lake High School’s art department. Students have their work displayed until May 18.

On display were paintings, ceramics, photography, and other types of arts and crafts made by the students.

At the opening reception on Tuesday, May 7, it was the largest turnout for any opening that the Arts Center has had.

Kristi Kavli, DLHS art teacher said in a statement “we explore a variety of techniques and mediums throughout the year, from traditional painting and drawing to digital art and sculpture. This exposure helps students find their preferred means of expression.”
