Devils Lake has voted “YES” on the $27,789,620 DLPS Bond Referendum. 63.5% voted in favor to approve of the bond referendum. The money will bring much-needed improvements and repairs to Central Middle School. As well, the money will be used to renovate and expand Praire View Elementary School. Superintendent Ned Clooten said he was “ecstatic” over the results of the vote. “I am just so happy for the students and staff and the community of Devils Lake,” he said. A total of 1727 ballots were cast. Of those ballots, 1103 voted yes with 623 voting no. In October 2022, the school held an unsuccessful bond referendum vote.
