Bowling fever hit the students of the Oberon school and they all (k-8th) headed down to New Rockford to the Wonderlanes bowling alley.

The students enjoyed a couple of hours of fun out of the classroom learning about ball weights and scoring along with just keeping that ball from going into the gutter. Many experienced bowling for the first time so there was no shortage of excitement.

First, 3rd grader Jaden and 4th grader look over the balls to select the right one.

Second grader Kourtney takes advantage of the ball guiding frame to steer her ball in the right direction.

Eighth grader Wanikiya aims her ball and fellow eighth grader, Kyle, takes his turn.

Eventually they took breaks for snacks and a beverage and to talk over their successes and yes, those gutter balls. Here middle schoolers, Jerzey, Angelina, Harleigh and Isis break for a snack.
