According to the website of the North Dakota Secretary of State 241,971 people voted in North Dakota, that’s roughly a turnout of 42.8%.
Senator
Statewide results show that Republican Senator John Hoeven got the top number of votes, 135,288 for 56.4%. His challengers were Dem – NPL Katrina Christiansen got 59,808 for 24.7% and Rick Becker received 289 votes, or .12%.
Representative
Representative Republican Kelly Armstrong received 147,984, 62.2% and Independent Cara Mund received 89,379 votes for 37.6%
Secretary of State
Secretary of State is Michael Howe with 147,414 votes, 63.2%. Challenging him were Dem. – NPL Jeff Powell with 64,033, 27.5%, and Independent Charles Tuttle with 21,468 votes or 9.2%.
Attorney General
Drew Wrigley received 166,059 votes, for 70.9% against Dem-NPL Timothy Lamb who received 67,398 votes, or 28.8%.
Ag Commissioner
Doug Goehring got 176,943 votes, 75.7% and Dem.-NPL Finton Dooley got 56,481 votes, 24.2%
Public Service Commissioner
Julie Fedorchak received 164,735 votes, 71.3% against Dem.-NPL Melanie Moniz 65,985 votes, 28.6%.
The unexpired 4-year term on the Public Service Commission went to Sheri Haugen-Hoffart with 160,914 votes, 70.4% against Dem.-NPL Trygve Hammer’s 67453, 29.5%.
Tax Commissioner
Brian Kroshus received 190,729, 98%, he ran unopposed.
Supreme Court Justice
Daniel J. Crothers received 187,406 or 99%. He ran unopposed.
Initiated Measure No. 1: Term Limits for Governor and Legislators passed, receiving 149,923 votes, 63.2%. The “No” votes were 86,472 for 36.6%.
Initiated Statutory Measure No. 2: Legalizing the production, processing, sale and possession of cannabis failed: 130,873 “No” votes (54.9%) to 107,299 “Yes” votes (45%).
Ramsey County Commission at Large, one unexpired 2-year term
Lee Gessner received 1,559 votes, 41.4%; TerryWallace received 1,553 votes, 40.7% and Rob Johnson received 649 votes, 17.2%.
Ramsey County Commissioners at Large, two 4-year terms
Bill Hodous received 2,029 votes, 28.9%; Paul Wilhelm received 1,826 votes, 26%; Ed Brown received 1,808 votes, 25.8% and Mark E. Olson received 1,280 votes, 18.2%.
Ramsey County Auditor; Kandy Christopherson, 5,542 votes, 99.4% (unapposed)
Ramsey County State’s Attorney; Beau Cummings, 3,398 votes, 98.9% (unapposed)
Ramsey County Recorder; Bev Bachmeier 3,495 votes, 99.4% (unapposed)
Ramsey County Treasurer; Lisa Diseth 3,570 votes, 99.4% (unapposed)
Ramsey County Sheriff; Bryan Lang with 2,231 votes, 57.6% and Steven K. Nelson’s 1,628 votes, 42%
