DEVILS LAKE, ND – Students at the Lake Area Career & Technology Center learned about career opportunities in the agricultural equipment industry during a visit from Leading Edge Equipment.
Service Technician Kyle Gratton, a graduate of the LACTC program, spoke to students about his experience in the John Deere Tech Program at North Dakota State College of Science and his current career at the John Deere dealership. Gratton also talked about other career opportunities in Sales, Parts, and John Deere technology support within in the dealership.
Students learned about the John Deere Tech Degree program, where Leading Edge-sponsored students can get 100% coverage of their 2-year degree from North Dakota State College of Science, with $20,000 in scholarships and over $20,000 in tuition reimbursement.
