The Devils Lake Park Board held a meeting on January 18 at the Burdick Arena. Here are some highlights from the meeting:
Peter Foss, from Fort Totten Little Theatre, spoke about the use of the bathrooms in the new building being built in Roosevelt Park. The discussion was about the use of the bathrooms during shows of the FTLT in the park. The park board and Foss both agreed to have a meeting to discuss the next 10 years of FTLT in Roosevelt Park to work out any potential issues regarding the use of the bathrooms and work together to make sure everyone is happy with the outcome.

Rental rates for the Dockside daytime office meeting space were approved. The proposal for $100/4hrs and $200/8hrs including set up was approved.
There is no sound system in the building with the only music available being a jukebox by the bowling alley. Dockside is looking to get a sound system that could play music and page people. “We do need to play music in there,” said manager Christy Remmick
