The employees of First United Bank collected food for the Hope Center the month of December. A reverse Advent theme was used for the food drive so rather than getting something each day, the employees donated something each day to support our community. Employees were divided into teams and were given a specific list of items to bring in each day to put into their “food gift boxes.” It was very successful with most employees bringing in more than what was on the list. In total, 377 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Hope Center.
