The park board meeting on January 4 was almost all about the Dockside Entertainment complex. While the opening is scheduled for spring of this year, the park board approved the rates, hours, and rules of the complex. Christy Remmick Dockside Entertainment and community engagement manager said she met with the sales tax committee that Tuesday and worked with them on the rates.

Corporate sponsorship levels were also brought up with different levels having discounts, usage of the building, thanks on social media, and a donor wall.

“We would be flexible,” said vice president Kale Stromme. “If someone wants to give to the project it will make the project better.”
