Leon Willis describes himself as a “West Coast guy” but he leaves his mark wherever he goes - literally.

Last year when visiting the Lake Region the former tagger did a mural for Lake Region State College which they have preserved in the school’s gymnasium.

This year he’s back in Devils Lake for his daughter’s graduation from LRSC, when he went looking for a yoga class he met Brady Stein at White Knights Crossfit. There he found another place where he could leave his mark. He completed the mural on the west wall of White Knights on Thursday after three days’ work.
Now living in Sacramento, Calif., Willis says he went from illegal tagging to owning his own legal business doing much the same thing.

An entrepreneur wherever he goes, Friday evening he will be DJ-ing at Proz in Devils Lake for his daughter’s 21st birthday party.
