The clock will only stop for timeouts and injuries.
Seedings for the Class B volleyball, baseball, boys and girls basketball and wrestling tournaments will now be seeded 1-5 with a random draw for the remaining three teams. Previously, the tournaments seeded 1-4.
A recommendation to allow BBCOR, or metal, bats in Class A baseball was also approved.
The Class A East Region boys and girls basketball tournament along with the Class B Region 1 girls basketball tournament will be held this upcoming season at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex in Fargo.
The SHAC is North Dakota State’s new basketball facility currently under renovation.
